what to expect
Arrival
The first thing you’ll notice when you approach our building is the beautiful steeple, classic brick style, white columns, and the name Riverside Baptist engraved on the front. Here are some helpful tips for first-time guests.
- Parking is available on both sides of our building. If the south side is full, the north side of our building has an upper and a lower parking lot. Please do not park on the street in front of the building. You might be ticketed by the city.
- If you arrive for RCF Academy, Children’s Academy, or Corporate Prayer, we recommend you use the side doors and immediately go downstairs.
- If you arrive for the main service at 10:30 am, we recommend you use the large front doors to the sanctuary by the street.
A Warm Welcome
Our church strives to extend the love of God to all who enter our doors. If someone from the Greeter Team does not welcome you, you will certainly encounter a warm welcome from any of our covenant members at any point during your time with us. During your visit, we’d love for you to fill out one of our connect cards so we can get to know you better!
Dress
Regarding dress, you will find people wearing both suits and jeans; we encourage you to dress in a way that is modest but also makes you feel comfortable. Your attire is far less important to us than your relationship with God.
A Shared Space
Riverside Baptist and Reformation Christian Fellowship meet in the same building on Sunday mornings. Riverside worships in the sanctuary at 9:15 am. That’s why we recommend you use the side doors at the middle of the building if you plan to attend any of our pre-10:30 am service functions.
Spiritual Investment in Your Children
But where do I take my children? We’re glad you asked!
For RCF Children’s Academy at 8:45 am, go in one of the side doors at the middle of the building and head directly downstairs. Once downstairs, turn to go up a slight incline into our newly refurbished kids area. A helper will be there to check your little ones in.
Our Nursery covers ages 2 and under and does so for the entire morning—including the main service.

We Embrace Multigenerational Worship
During the main service at 10:30, children ages 3 and up are welcomed and cheerfully brought into our main service. If a young one needs a moment to calm down, we have a cry room directly below the sanctuary in our fellowship hall. There we have a livestream of the service so you won’t miss out.
A Commitment to Expository Preaching
At RCF we preach through the word of God, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. Sermons roughly run from 35 minutes to an hour, depending on the length of the text and the preacher.
A Congregation that Sings
The music at RCF is a mix of contemporary style, old and new hymns, and simple and beautiful arranging. Our church loves to sing and sing loudly.
